Grit and Grace Doula, presented on this website as Grit + Grace Doula and operated by Teesee Logan (“I,” “me,” or “my”), respects your privacy. I aim to collect only the information needed to respond to you, arrange doula support, and run this website. Services are offered in Orange County, California, United States. I do not use personal information for advertising or sell it to data brokers.

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and information you provide when you contact me about doula services. It also describes the website’s current technical features. The website is a static site; it does not have an account system, a client portal, or a connected consultation-form submission service.

If you become a client, I may also receive information in conversations, calls, texts, or other agreed ways of working together. I use only information relevant to the support you request. This site is not a medical-record portal. A doula provides nonmedical support and does not replace your healthcare professional. Please do not send medical records, payment card details, passwords, or urgent health information through a website message or ordinary email.

Information you choose to provide

The consultation form shown on this site is a disabled design preview. Its fields cannot be submitted, and the site does not send or store form entries. The planned inquiry form will ask only for basic contact details, the type of support you are interested in, and a preferred way or time to talk. It will not ask for health history, due date, baby’s age, medical records, or file uploads.

You can contact me using the email or phone links on this site. If you email, call, or text, I receive the contact details and the content you choose to send. Your email and phone providers also process those communications under their own privacy practices.

If you choose to work with me, information you choose to share that is relevant to planning or providing doula support may include contact and scheduling details, your support preferences, and limited context about your pregnancy, birth, postpartum needs, or infant care. I do not need a complete medical history for a doula inquiry. I will explain any additional information needed for a service before asking you to provide it.

Website and device information

The website is hosted as a static site on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site, such as connection and request information. No analytics or real-user performance measurement tool is installed in the site code. Review Cloudflare account settings and terms before publication to confirm applicable data handling and retention.

The disabled preview form cannot be used to enter or submit information.

The site does not intentionally set advertising cookies. It uses your browser’s sessionStorage for limited campaign attribution: campaign tags in the page address, the first page path you visited, and the referring website’s origin. This information stays in that browser tab’s session and is cleared when the session ends or browser storage is cleared. Please do not put personal or health details in a page address or campaign tag. If connected, the current form helper also adds these attribution values to the form submission as hidden fields; the disabled form sends nothing.

No advertising pixels, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, session replay, or automated decision-making are configured in the site code. Analytics availability and settings in the hosting account are outside this repository and should be checked before publication.

How I use information

I use contact information and messages to reply to you, discuss whether my services may fit, coordinate services you request, and keep necessary business records. The website does not include a marketing signup, advertising profile, or AI feature. How the business uses information received outside the website must be confirmed before publication.

When information may be shared

When the planned form is connected, Formspree will receive the information you submit and send a notification to the business email account. Cal.com and the connected calendar provider will receive the information needed to book a consultation. These services process information under their own terms. Copies sent by email are also handled by the email provider. I do not use these details for advertising or sell them for resale. I do not control third-party services, websites, email providers, or phone carriers.

How long information is kept

The website does not retain consultation-form entries because the form is disabled and no submission endpoint is connected. When connected, Formspree submission history, booking details, and email notifications will be retained according to the relevant account settings and provider terms. Browser attribution remains in session storage only for the current tab session. The hosting provider may retain operational records according to account settings and provider terms.

For email, text, and doula-client records, I intend to keep only what is reasonably needed to respond, provide the agreed support, maintain necessary business records, and meet legal obligations. The actual retention periods and deletion process depend on the communication tools and client-record practices in use. [Owner review: set and follow a retention schedule for inquiries, client notes, communications, and provider backups before publication.]

Your privacy choices and requests

You can choose not to use the consultation form or to provide optional details. You can contact me directly by email or phone. You may ask me to provide access to, correct, or delete personal information I hold, subject to legal requirements and exceptions. I will verify requests as reasonably necessary and respond as required by applicable law. I will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.

California privacy laws give certain rights to California residents when they apply to a business. Whether a particular law applies depends on the business and its processing, not just on where a website visitor lives. If applicable, I will honor the rights that law provides, which may include knowing, correcting, or deleting personal information and opting out of sale or sharing. I do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics or for purposes unrelated to providing requested support or operating the site. You may also ask a person authorized by law to make a request on your behalf.

To make a privacy request or ask a question, email theGGdoula@gmail.com or call (714) 253-2915. Please do not send sensitive health information to verify your identity.

Children

This website is intended for adults seeking doula support; it is not directed to children. A parent or guardian may choose to share limited information about a baby, such as age, when asking about support. Please do not provide information about a child that is not needed for that conversation.

Changes and contact

I may update this policy when website features or information practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. For privacy questions, contact Teesee Logan at theGGdoula@gmail.com or (714) 253-2915.

Owner review before publication: Add the business mailing address. Review Cloudflare, Formspree, Cal.com, and email account settings and terms; set retention and deletion routines for form submissions, calendar events, and email notifications; and confirm whether any optional AI features are disabled. Confirm HIPAA applicability based on the business’s relationships and services, and whether the business meets any privacy-law coverage threshold. Decide whether to remove the current form’s campaign-attribution fields so the submission contains only basic information. Align the disabled form preview with the planned basic-information fields, then confirm the effective date. Update this policy before enabling any new data collection or service.
